Attorneys Matthew Taylor Wilkov and Marc D. Collazzo presented a seminar before the Family Law Section of the Montgomery Bar Association

Lansdale - Matthew Taylor Wilkov and Marc D. Collazzo, attorneys with the law firm of Rubin, Glickman, Steinberg and Gifford, made a presentation to the Family Law Section of the Montgomery Bar Association entitled "Family Law and the Military" on Wednesday June 6, 2007.

Mr. Wilkov and Mr. Collazzo discussed issues and implications of military personnel involved in divorce, custody, spousal and child support, as well as collection of support, paternity, military retirement, jurisdiction and service of process.

Matthew Taylor Wilkov has been a member of the law firm since 1999 and has been a Partner with the law firm since 2005 and practices in the areas of personal injury, products liability, medical malpractice, criminal defense, business litigation, and military/veterans law. Mr. Wilkov is a member of the Pennsylvania and Montgomery Bar Associations. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Montgomery Bar Association ,he is a former Chair of the Young Lawyers Section of the Montgomery Bar Association. He is also a member of the Montgomery Bar Association Trial Lawyers Section, and a former Chair of the Juvenile Rules Committee. In addition, he is a member of The Montgomery Inn of Court. He is a graduate of the Temple University School of Law where he was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society and the Temple Political and Civil Rights Law Review. Mr. Wilkov earned his Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University.

He currently serves in the rank of Major in the United States Army Reserve as the Training Officer for the 153rd Legal Support Organization. Before becoming a member of the firm, he served on Active Duty as a Judge Advocate and paratrooper in the U.S. Army. While assigned as a Captain at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, he served on the Commanding General's staff as a prosecutor and as Chief of Administrative Law, 82nd Airborne Division.

Mr. Collazzo joined Rubin, Glickman, Steinberg and Gifford in 2005. His practice includes Domestic and Personal Injury. He is a graduate of Temple University and received his law degree from Widener University School of Law in 1993.

He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar and practices in all of the surrounding counties in Philadelphia, including Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery Counties. He is a member of the National Association of Public Insurance Adjusters and Mr. Collazzo serves as counsel to the public adjusting firm of Stephen R. Figlin & Associates. Prior to Mr. Collazzo joining our firm, Mr. Collazzo was a partner with the Philadelphia firm of Garagozzo & Associates.
