Steven F. Fairlie spoke at the Criminal Law SymposiumSteven F. Fairlie, a partner with Rubin, Glickman, Steinberg and Gifford, of Lansdale, spoke at a seminar that was held at the Hilton in Harrisburg on June 7th and 8th , the Pennsylvania Bar Institute's statewide "Criminal Law Symposium". Mr. Fairlie spoke on the topic "How to run a criminal law practice" Mr. Fairlie joined the firm in 2000, and became a partner with the firm in 2004. Prior thereto, he was a trial attorney in the Major Crimes and Narcotics Units in the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office. Currently, his practice includes criminal law, personal injury and civil litigation. As a criminal defense attorney, he has won numerous high-profile cases, including a case in which he successfully argued for vacating the death penalty. He is a 1995 graduate of The Dickinson School of Law and holds a bachelor's degree in government and law from Lafayette College. Mr. Fairlie is the chairman of the Montgomery Bar Association's Criminal Defense Committee. He is also a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association's Professionalism Committee and Criminal Defense Lawyers Hotline Panel of Experts Committee. |
